Gush Mundae Appointed D&AD Jury President for Packaging Design

LONDON, JANUARY 2026 - Gush Mundae, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bulletproof, has been appointed Jury President for the Packaging Design category at the D&AD Awards 2026, taking place in May.

D&AD is a global non-profit dedicated to celebrating, enabling, and nurturing excellence in design and creativity. Spanning 46 categories and judged by the world’s leading creatives across design, brand, advertising, craft, health, culture, engagement, experience and impact, the awards are internationally recognised as one of the industry’s highest honours. The coveted D&AD Pencils – from the Black Pencil through to Yellow, Graphite, Wood and White – are widely regarded as defining moments in creative careers.

This year, D&AD also launches its new global brand manifesto and campaign, “Creativity: Dead or Alive?”, challenging the industry to confront this simple provocation and calling for a renewed culture of experimentation and bold creative ambition.

“If you told me that one day I’d be a Jury President at the mighty D&AD I’d have asked what you’ve been smoking,’ said Mundae. “D&AD has always stood for work that endures – ideas with the power to shift culture, inspire the next generation, and raise the bar for our industry. I’m honoured to oversee what’s easily the OG category - packaging (and I would argue the most creative). It remains one of the most immediate and powerful expressions of creativity, where brand desire, craft and innovation meet. It’s where I cut my cloth, where my heart lies and where I feel most inspired.  I’m excited to see the work that proves creativity is very much alive.”

As Jury President for Packaging Design, Mundae will lead the evaluation of work across the category, championing ideas that demonstrate excellence in craft, creativity and strategic intent. Entries are open until 19 March.
