Our task? Create a truly spectacular visual identity with a contemporary edge that would take the Heineken/Bond partnership to the next level, visually cementing these two iconic brands together and reinforcing that only Heineken ‘has licence’ to execute.
We identified iconic Bond and Heineken assets and explored how they could be combined into a disruptive but flexible system. The bond silhouette became embedded in the Heineken wordmark and a carbon fibre texture formed the backdrop, providing a clear visual thread that felt natural to both brands and ensured visual consistency across all touchpoints.
It was a great honour to be involved in such an epic project and when the opportunity to direct a photoshoot in Opatija – Croatia, on the set of the Heineken Bond TVC came up, with Bond girls, speed boat chases and all under glorious sunshine… how could we refuse?!
With ‘SPECTRE’ smashing box office records taking $80.4 million in its opening week and enjoying the biggest UK debut in history, we couldn’t be more proud of our involvement and the great work we created with Heineken.
