Launched in 1998, the Amazon Growing Business awards have long been considered the most credible and highly valued recognition of growing businesses in the UK. Set up by Real Business magazine, they truly celebrate SME business success and give those at the helm of the UK’s most exciting and fast growing businesses recognition for their hard work.
After submitting our entry, we were thrilled to hear that we’d been shortlisted for an award – Creative Industries Business of the Year. This was a new category that was launched this year and we were up against four other companies from all parts of the creative industry from fashion to publishing, to TV and music.
As the evening rolled on, the time for came of our category winner to be announced. The team all held their breath, and to our amazement, Bulletproof was crowned the winner! Our Head of Strategy, Ed Silk and Client Business Director, Debbie Gandee went on stage to accept the trophy and Ed made an impromptu acceptance speech, proud to be receiving such an accolade.
Commenting on our win, Managing Partner, Jonny Stewart said: “Back in ’98 our growth ambitions amounted to a magic number of 12 employees… 19 years later our tribe is over 12 times that size, having grown across 3 continents whilst working with the largest FMCG/CPG companies in the world. Proof that true belief in our culture, absolute commitment to our cause and lots of hard earned luck can truly make dreams come true.”
