Bulletproof Summer Trip 2011 – Lisbon

Olá e bem-vindos! Once again Bulletproof used the thin veil of ‘team building’ to down tools and vacate the offices for our annual getaway jaunt.

It was the first year for London to meet New York and vice versa so it had to be neutral ground.. the (un)lucky chosen city was sunny Lisbon and boy did we team build… not literally as we’re close but not that close… except Debs & Scott as they’re married, or Nick & Kate or Mandy & Richard… shit, digging a hole here… that’s another story for another blog!

Back to it now… wow, what a place, Bulletproof armed with Leica’s, imaginations and thirst is a heady mix but a beautiful one! We hit the hot tarmac at just after 11 in the morning and were welcomed at the city centre hotel with open arms and cold drinks… heaven.

So there we were, Thursday, just after midday with the city at our mercy… we walked and talked, joked and laughed, ate and drank, watched and listened all the while soaking in the atmosphere until the sun sank on the first day. As the moon rose over the city we ate some more, drank some more, the young ones came to life and hit the clubs, whilst other chilled and chatted and waited for our young charges to crawl in… they did at 6am… yeah Will & Adrian don’t think we didn’t notice!

The final full day was… nah, what goes on tour stays on tour and trust me you wouldn’t wanna know… anyhow Saturday came and lest to say we were ready to go.

We had a drink, we had a laugh and it was time to go home.

Thank you all for making it such a memorable time but an extra special shout out must to go to Rob for making the walk home to the hotel such a memorable one… I don’t think I’ve laughed so much in years!
